Football camp followed, with 43 participants, where campers learned the fundamentals of football, along with being introduced to the Flexbone offense.

The month of June was busy with summer league games. Both the girl and boys basketball teams participated in the City View league. The girls had two teams with 15 players, and the boys had nine players.

The Lady Cub softball team also participated in summer league games in Wichita Falls, Texas, where they had 14 players.

A High School Team Football Camp was also held, where Coach Kenny Wheaton from Harding University, along with coaches from the San Antonio area introduced the basics and fundamentals of the Flexbone offense to 27 participants.

There has also been Cub Pride strength and conditioning workouts each week for the past six week, with an average of 40 athletes per day participating.
