Varsity Softball

This softball season, the Lady Cubs have fought hard in each game and kept their hustle going. Coach Mollie Pace is very proud of the girls for what they have accomplished this season through the good and bad. The girls recently competed against Bryson and had a successful night, winning 26-17.

“After graduating our pitcher, catcher, first, and third base starting players, I was nervous how our season would look. However we have had great underclassmen that have stepped up to replace those positions. The girls are playing great and continuing to show growth each game,” Coach Pace said.

The girls are still continuing their softball season. They are currently in the middle of district and working hard to get themselves in the playoffs this year. The girls played Archer City Friday at the OHS home field, which was another chance to get a spot for the playoffs.

“Any time that we have made a mistake or been behind in runs they have done a fantastic job of preserving and pushing through” says Coach Pace.
