The Olney Lady Cubs varsity basketball team claimed victory over the Munday Mogulettes Tuesday, Nov. 6, in the Olney High School gym.

The Lady Cubs lead the scoring in the first quarter 17 to 6. In the second quarter, they retained the lead scoring 11 points versus the nine points Munday scored. In the third quarter Munday lead in the scoring 11 to

10. The fourth quarter also had Munday scoring more points with 10 to the Lady Cubs seven points. The final score was 45 to 36.

The Lady Cubs fought hard as Jae Montgomery scored 17 points, Irune Aguireazaldegui scored 12 points, Claire Garcia scored six points, Maddy Green scored five points, Anahi Marquez scored four points, Lexi Allsbrooks scored three points and Lara Fisch and Joden Jacoba each scored one point.

The Lady Cubs next game was against the Henrietta Lady Cats Saturday, Nov. 10, at the Olney High School gym where they again won the day with a score of 47-35.
