Tower Youth Golf Tournament Results

The 17th Annual Tower Extrusion Junior Golf Tournament boasted a healthy turnout, a roster of eager competitors and cool weather in 2023. The contest took place at the Olney Country Club on June 3.

The 13- to 16-year-old girls’ division competitors were Katelynn Bailey, Mia Oliveira, Ellie Hinson and Marlee Lane. Mia Oliveira won the closest to the Pin competition in her age range. The competitors in the 13- to 18-year-old boys’ division were Jaxon David, Davis Jones, Abe Rozell, Bo Rozell, Avery Jones, Jones Rozell, Jase Campbell, Hank David, Caleb Johnson, Brady Lisle, Brason Brock, Boo Moerschell, Cooper Lane, Luke Lane, Colby Johnson, Ryder Lisle, Keenan Daugherty, Case Gray, Kane Brock, Sawyer Edgington and Maddox Johnson.

Maddox Johnson won the Closest to the Pin contest and Avery Jones placed second in their age group.

The shootout champions for the 13to 18-year-old category were Katelynn Bailey and Brason Brock.

The Tournament included categories for 3- to 6-year-old girls and boys. The competitors in the girls’ category were Raylee Cawthon, Landri Ridenour, and Audrey Rogers. Best scorers were Raylee Cawthon in first place, Landri Ridenour in second place and Audrey Rogers in third place. Closest to the Pin winners were Landri Ridenour, first place; and Raylee Cawthon, second place. Long Driver winners were Landri Ridenour, first place; and Raylee Cawthon, second place. The competitors in the 3- to 6-year-old boys’ division were Rhyder Cawthon, Micah Daugherty, Miles Hoaglund, Isaac Johnson, Jameson Johnson, Hannis Miller, Ross Rogers, Turner Waggoner, and Will Wellman. Best scorers were Rhyder Cawthon, first place; Micah Daugherty, second place; and Isaac Johnson, third place. Closest to the Pin contest winners were Hannis Miller, first place; and Isaac Johnson, second place. Putting contest winners were Hannis Miller, first place; and Isaac Johnson, second place. Long Drivc contest winners were Isaac Johnson, first place; and Micah Daugherty, second place.
