The Olney Speech team competed in the regional University Interscholastic League Congress Debate meet on Nov. 2 in Wichita Falls. Junior Allie Barrington placed 7th overall. Senior Richard Walp placed 5th overall and received a gold gavel for his role as presiding officer. Senior Adelade Edgington placed 3rd overall and is advancing to the state competition.
