Seventh-grade Cubs school Jacksboro Tigers

The seventh-grade Olney Cubs played the Jacksboro Tigers Thursday, September 20, in Archer City, Texas. The Cubs were in the lead, with a score of 30-0, until the third quarter, when inclement weather caused all game-play to end.

Gatlin Guy took the ball in for two touchdowns in the first quarter. A two-point conversion and a strong defense had the quarter ending with the Cubs in the lead, with a score of 14-0.

In the second quarter, Jacob Hernandez was able to get the ball into the endzone for a touchdown and another two-point conversion. Another touchdown by Gatlin Guy on a 50-yard carry and another twopoint conversion by Jacob Hernandez kept the Cubs in the lead, with a score of 30-0.

The game was called early in the third quarter due to a storm that was about hit. The eighth grade game was canceled against the Tigers, as was the junior varsity game against the Archer City Wildcats.
