The season didn’t go as how we planned, but leading this young team was fun and was a wild experience. I’m glad me and Carter led them and I hope they learned a few things from us.” This was the final game of the season as well as Senior Baseball Night for the Olney Cubs - a time when outgoing Seniors are recognized for their achievements.

This was the last game of the season for the Cubs and a time was set aside to honor and recognize the outgoing Seniors of the Cub baseball team. When asked about his season Carter said, “It has been an honor being an Olney Cub! I’ve had ups and downs, but have stuck it out through it all, because it’s so worth it. To the athletes coming up: stick with it! Enjoy every minute of every practice and every game. Your time as a Cub goes really fast. Always try to do your best and give it all you got. There’s going to be ups and downs, but the ups outweigh the downs any day of the week.”
