Pirates pillage Cubs

Although the Junior High Cubs football team gave their maximum effort against the Petrolia Pirates, it just wasn’t enough. The 7th and 8th grade football teams joined forces to take on the Pirates at Cub Stadium on Thursday, September 6.

The defense put up a great effort, but fell short, and the offence failed to put points up on the scoreboard.

One thing can be said of a Cub: when pushed into a corner, they will fight tooth-and-nail to defeat their enemy. So, we will stay hopeful and look forward to next week, when the Cubs battle Windthorst, for redemption.
