Olney Cubs Senior Night

On Feb. 3, both the Cubs and the Lady Cubs played against Archer City (with this being the final game of the season for the Lady Cubs.)

Hosting the Wildcats on Senior Night, the Cubs kept it close the first half of the game. First quarter score: Cubs 13 – Wildcats 18, and in the second quarter #2 Carter Hinson led the way in points. Second quarter score: Cubs 26 – Wildcats 39. The third quarter consisted of mostly offensive strategies with the Cubs only receiving 8 points. Third quarter score: Cubs 34 – Wildcats 49. The Cubs received 13 points in the fourth quarter, ending the night with a final score of Cubs 47 – Wildcats 67.

The Lady Cubs hosted the Lady Cats on Senior Night and fought through heavy defensive traffic in the first quarter. First quarter score: Lady Cubs 9 – Lady Cats 22. In the second quarter the Lady Cubs increased their defense ending the period with a score of Lady Cubs 9 – Lady Cats 11. The third quarter favored Archer City leaving them with a total of 21 points scored just in this quarter. In the final quarter both teams faced a defensive battle. Final score of the night: Lady Cubs 27 – Lady Cats 62.
