Olney’s Children Enjoy Summer Sports

The children and teens of Olney are still enjoying many sporting activities during summer break, including softball, baseball, basketball, volleyball, cross country running and weightlifting with football camp coming later in the summer.

The Olney Bombers and the Young Guns recently played through some playoff rounds with successes on both teams.

Summer leagues are the backbone of teaching young athletes the principles of being a successful athlete and for keeping teens in shape and learning new skills before fall athletics resume, there is plenty of fun being had as well.
