





OHS & OJHS cheerleaders perform at Cheer Camp
OHS Cheerleaders sponsor Alyson Orsak, Varsity Cheerleader Coach Baylee Orsak and OJH Cheerleading Coach Lauren Sullivan, hosted a cheerleading summer camp. The camp was full to capacity with smiling young ladies eager to learn new skills and polish up skills already learned. The camp was opened for OHS Varsity Cheer and the OJH Cheerleaders and taught dance routines, stunting and cheering. The camp ended with an exciting show for the community that highlighted everything the cheerleaders had learned at camp.
OHS Varsity Cheerleaders and OJH Cheerleaders teamed up during summer cheer camp to perform this and other exciting stunts for an audience. OHS Varsity cheerleaders were on top of their game during the cheer summer camp, performing their stunts and routines flawlessly for the crowd that gathered at the OHS gym to enjoy an end-of-camp show that included stunting, dances and cheers.
OHS and OJH cheerleaders who attended the cheer summer camp ended the camp with a spectacular show for friends and family that included dance routines, cheers and stunts. The last cheer had attendees on their feet with paws in the air as the cheerleaders performed the traditional Cub school cheer that is well over fifty years old and a beloved institution with Cub and Lady Cub fans.

This Olney Junior High cheerleader had plenty of spirit and it showed during the OHS cheerleader summer camp.
Residents gathered at Tommy Perkins Park at the end of the Fourth of July parade down Main Street to enjoy good conversation and share memories of Olney’s past Independence Day celebrations. As the community conversed and enjoyed juicy watermelon, the Olney Chamber Board was hard at work deciding who would take home the coveted prizes for Most Patriotic Group, Vehicle and Pet.
Friends and family will look back at the Olney Chamber’s Fourth of July Parade and Park Social with fondness as they recall friends they made and sweet memories of an old fashioned celebration that can only be found in a small, tight-knit community.
