OHS Invitational Hosted at Olney Country Club

Golfers from many school districts descended upon Olney Country Club for the annual OHS-sponsored Olney Invitational Golf meet.
During the two days of golfing, the Olney Lady Cubs and Cubs, and Newcastle Ladycats and Bobcats competed against rival golfers from other districts during high winds.
Although all golfers played hard during the windy event, only a few walked away with top honors. Olney Cub Caleb Johnson earned a firstplace medal with a par 74 for the day.
The Olney team made improvements for the week, according to coaches’ reports on social media. Olney High School’s only lady golfer, Lady Cub Golfer Marlee Lane, recently came away with a second-place medal at the Seymour Invitational.
