OHS Cheerleaders Host Bake Sale

The Olney High School [OHS] Cheerleaders hosted a bake sale auction on July 30, the proceeds of which totaled about $750 and will be used to help fund items needed by the OHS Cheer. This year’s Cheer Sponsor is Alyson Orsak, and Cheer Coach will be Baylee Orsak.

The two will oversee cheer-related events and teach various cheer stunts, routines, cheers and dances.

Your 2022-2023 OHS Varsity Cheerleaders this year are: Makayla Torres, Kylie Belyeu, Brianna Galindo, Havana Hart, Jolie Widner, Kirstyn Kirby, Taylor Lawrence, Rai Bond and Cub Mascot Charlie the Bear-Brooke Orsak!

Some of the items auctioned included a Pioneer Woman ice cream maker, banana pudding cake, chocolate chip cookies, fruit pizzas, Neiman Marcus cake and many other treats. Coach Orsak says Homecoming will be on September 26, and invites everyone to come out to support the school for the parade and game.

Coach Orsak said fans and the community can look forward to seeing the OHS Cheer perform many new skills this year, including tumbling, stunting, new dance routines and cheers.
