OHS cheerleaders chosen for 2023 2024 year

As the school year comes to an end, new things come up. The 2023-2024 Olney Cub cheerleaders have been picked and are ready to support both the football games and basketball games.

Alyson Orsak, the varsity cheer sponsor, announced the new line-up: Tyana Kinney (captain), Rai Bond (co-captain), Katy Rosales, Kristen Fields, Nataley Kelley, Aubree Englishbee, Ana Vasquez and Anay Santibenz. Brooke Orask was named mascot.

Orsak said all the cheer sponsors are excited for the year to come and they have many things planned for the new cheerleaders.

“We will be having a cheer camp again this summer with Addi Belmarez, a Texas Tech cheerleader,” said Orsak. Coach Baylee Orsak “and I are in the process of planning a mini cheer camp for ages PreK to 5th grade.”

Orsak said the sponsors will be sending out a flier for parents to fill out and return in May. She added, “... be watching for a bake sale coming soon. We are looking forward to a new season of football and basketball.”
