OHS Boys Track Team Solid at Albany Meet

Olney High School’s track team went to Albany for a meet on Thursday, March 26 and performed well in all events.

For the Junior Varsity boys, Noah Lumbrera placed fourth in high jump and third in triple jump, Eric German was third in discus, Jacob Gallardo was second in shot put and fifth in discus.

For the Varsity team, Kyle Stewart was fifth in the 100 meter dash, Juan Castillo was fourth in the 400 meter dash, Jaxxon Laurent was sixth in the 1600 meter run, Wesley Symank was fourth in the 3200 meter run, Tucker Cortinez was fifth in the 110 hurdles, Lumbrera was second in the 300 hurdles, Dom Collins was second in long jump, Jamarcus Collins was third in long jump and third in triple jump, and Kanin Beavers was third in shot put. The 4x100, 4x200 and 4x400 relays each came in fifth.
