











OHS Athletic Banquet
Senior Gio Rockmore received the Cub Pride Award for his skills on the football field with the Cubs. Gio was known for his explosive runs out of the backfield, mowing over defenders. Gio excelled on the court as a Cubbasketball player as well.
Senior Taaron Scrogum received a Cub Pride Award in softball from Mollie Pace, head coach for the Lady Cubs softball team. Taaron also excelled as a Lady Cub in basketball and volleyball.
Brodie Hagle received his Cub Pride Award in baseball by Cubs Baseball Head Coach Caleb King. Coach King took over the Cub baseball team at the last minute and coached the team to the playoffs for the first time in seven years. Brodie helped the Cubs make it to the playoffs and
excelled at basketball as well.
Morgan Simmons received her Cub Pride Award for cross country from cross country coach Mollie Pace. Morgan or Mo as she is called by friends and family, was a catcher for the Lady Cubs softball team and played on the Lady Cubs JV Volleyball team as well.
Jaylee Bowers received Cub Pride Awards in volleyball and track from Coach Caleb King. Jaylee went on to qualify in state for track in hurdles.
Ellie Hinson was presented the Cub Pride Award in golf by Lady Cubs Golf Coach Katie Rowe. Ellie excelled at many sports this year including softball and basketball.
Brianna Galindo was awarded the Cub Pride Award for cheerleading at the OHS Athletic Banquet by OISD Athletic Director Jody Guy. Brianna kept Cubs fans cheering for the athletes as they competed for school pride. Brianna was a Lady Cubs softball second baseman.
Aubrey Daughetry received Cub Pride Awards for basketball and volleyball at the OHS Athletic Banquet.Aubrey received her awards from her proud father, OISD Coach Rhyan Daugherty, head coach of the Lady Cubs basketball team.
Jordan Jacoba was awarded the Cub Pride Award for baseball at the OHS Athletic Banquet by Coach Caleb King. Jordan was also an integral part of the Cubs football team.
Brady Lisle was awarded the Cub Pride Award for Basketball at the OHS Athletic Banquet by Coach Dylan Ballard, head coach of the Cubs basketball team. Brady played first base for the Cubs baseball team.
Caleb Johnson was awarded the Cub Pride Award for golf at the OHS Athletic Banquet by Cubs Golf Coach and Athletic Trainer Garrett Pace. Caleb was a crucial member of the Cubs’ successful golf season.
Camron McComack was awarded the Cub Pride Award for track & field at the OHS Athletic Banquet by Coach Jason Powers, who will be next season’s head football coach. Camron played center field for the Cubs baseball team and running back/ defensive back for the Cubs
football team.
