The Newcastle Lady Cats Play Against the Graford Lady Rabbits

The Newcastle Lady Cats played their 1st District game of the year against Graford Friday, Jan. 4, in the Newcastle gym. The Lady Cats claimed the victory with a score of 74-19.

The Lady Cats scored 18 points to Graford’s 5 points in the first quarter. They gained 18 points against Graford’s 9 points in the second quarter. They expanded their lead with 19 points compared to Graford’s 3 points in the third quarter. In the fourth quarter, they added another 19 points versus the 2-points Graford scored.
