Newcastle Bobcats vs. Savoy Cardinals

The Newcastle Bobcats took on Savoy this past Friday at home, putting on an offensive and defensive clinic. Winning by a score of 70-7, with everybody getting involved.

The game was played until halftime, upon Texas high school football UIL rules. But the Bobcats came to play from the opening kick, with Seniors JD Brice, JT Spurlin, Lane Brice, and Edwin Bennett all getting in on the scoring outbursts on the evening.

The Bobcats will be ready to make this a two game winning streak with they take on arch rival Bryson, this upcoming Friday night at 7:30 p.m. Newcastle is trying to keep their playoff hopes alive as they look to rack up the wins in district play.
