Newcastle Bobcats battle May Tigers

The 4-0 May Tigers traveled about 100 miles to face off against the 3-1 Newcastle Bobcats and came away with a strong win against a very dominant Bobcat team.

The Bobcats seemed to have things going in the right direction in the first quarter and started to fall behind in the second quarter with a few misfires on offense and a defense failing to stop the Tigers air game. #0 London Martinez kept the Bobcats in the fight but needed help that was not there. Martinez rushed for 145 yards. This seemed like a fluke game and not at all like the powerhouse Bobcat team of the past few weeks. Look for the Bobcats to learn from the mistakes of this game and be back to their usual dominant play style against Wichita Christian Stars for the big HOCO Game.
