Little Cubs enjoy end-of-summer football camp
The last camp of summer has come and gone and the new school year is upon the community of Olney.
Olney High School’s new Athletic Director and Head Football Coach Chris Tobola hosted a football camp for those entering the sixth grade and lower grades. The camp was a complete success with the help of some Cub Varsity football players, Cub Defensive Coordinator Coach Casey Keeter, Assistant Coaches Eric Symank, Justin Tate and Nate Ragan, Offensive Coordinator Coach Kyle Consemiu.
The little Cubs learned valuable skills like how to properly stretch, blocking, tackling, receiving and many other skills. The attendees began the camp by running onto the field through the Varsity Cub Helmut tunnel.
After stretching, the coaches broke the attendees off into various squads to learn many skills that will help the little football players during their time in peewee and flag football this summer. The little Cubs also learned comradery and how to have fun.
