Lady Cubs Softball Results for Chico and Graford

The Olney Lady Cubs put up a fight against the Lady Dragons on Friday, April 7, but they recorded a 13-4 loss. The Lady Cubs have learned from what they have struggled with, which Coach Mollie Pace says are their small errors.

“The Lady Cubs started the game off strong defensively while offensively we were fighting to drive the ball out of the infield,” Pace said. “The players continued to fight all the way through the seventh inning but fell short to the Lady Dragons.” While they came short, the Lady Cubs still have a few games left in their season where they can still fight hard and fix their small errors. The Lady Cubs played Graford at Graford with a double header on Tuesday, April 11. Pace said there were several good things that happened that she hadn’t seen all year, and the Lady Cubs worked together as a team.The first game was a 10-0 loss for Olney, and the second game was a 13-0 loss.
