Lady Cubs Scrimmage Throckmorton

Nov. 4, the Olney Lady Cubs took to the home court hosting Throckmorton in a pre-season basketball game. This game was to help them prepare them for the season opener, Friday Nov. 6, against the Munday Moguls.

The Lady Cubs defense was on point and was able to keep the point spread very tight. Offense seemed a bit rusty, but kept the baskets coming to win the scrimmage with a score of Lady Cubs - 23 to Moguls - 20.

The Lady Cubs played cohesively as a team overall with the defense looking ready for regular season. Offensively the Lady Cubs look to improve as the season begins with several Lady Cubs returning from last year. The seasoned players returning this year looked primed for a winning season. Fight on Lady Cubs!!!
