The greatest touchdown of all time

The greatest touchdown of all time

Our team scored big more than 2000 years ago. Jesus made the greatest touchdown of all time, causing us to win the game. But the other team began cheering when he was beaten down. Although the touchdown was for both teams, his opponent cheered the loudest as his followers looked on, denying that they knew him. What a touchdown! Surrounded by the defense, yet he held on to the ball of our sins, striving toward the finish line. He touched down on his knees in the garden of Gethsemane, praying, “Father, if it is your will, take away this cup from me.”

He touched down his head in the locks of his shoulder on the cross. He touched down in the grave, his feet back to earth. His touchdown now is on the right hand of his Father in heaven, making intercession for all who will come to him. This was the greatest touchdown of all time, yet the media says little about it. Very few care that he made it to the finish line. Soon he will come again with a grand celebration for the winning team when his feet touch down upon the Mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem.

Hallelujah; Thank you, Jesus. Lord, you’re worthy of all the glory, all the honor, and all the praise. It makes me want to shout!

“TOUCHDOWN” JESUS!
