Girls District Track Meet Results

Many Lady Cubs qualified for the area track meet with top four qualifying performances at the UIL district track meet in Petrolia on April 6.

In individual running events, Mallory Jeske got fourth in the 3200-meter run, Jaylee Bowers got first in the 100-meter hurdles and second in the 300-meter hurdles. Bradi Bowers was fourth in the 300-meter hurdles.

In the relays, the 4x200 meter relay got fourth with runners Bradi Bowers, Abby Guerra, Katelynn Bailey, and Dana Castillo. The 4x400 meter relay also advanced in second place with runners Bradi Bowers, Guerra, Bailey, and Jaylee Bowers. Onto field events, Taylor Lawrence got first with a height of 9-00 and Jennifer Martinez got fourth with a height of 6-00 in pole vault, Guerra got first in high jump with a jump of 5-00, and Aney Alveres got fourth in shot put with a distance of 26-11.75. The area meet was held in Graham on April 13.
