Former Ladycat Hosts Volleyball Skills Training

Former Newcastle High School Ladycat all-star volleyball player Mya Cabrera returned over the summer to her hometown high school to offer summer volleyball lessons.

Many future Ladycats of all ages took advantage of the skills session. Mya Cabrera had more than one full ride to a college of her choosing, both from her honors as class valedictorian and through her sports scholarship to play at Tarleton State University.

The talented Ladycat says she wanted to give back to her community in the best way she knew how, by passing on valuable volleyball skills and mentorship.
