Eighth-Grade A Team Defeats Pirates

The Olney eighth-grade Cubs A team played the Petrolia Pirates Tuesday, Dec. 17, in Petrolia.. The Cubs had the Pirates walking the plank with a victory score of 38-25.

The eighth-grade A team comprises Luke Buffington #0, Tavon Scrogum #1, Cole Turner #2, James Coleman #3, AB Marquez #4, Cooper Lane #11, Carter Turner #15 and Devin Esparza #22.

The Cubs scored 12 points in the first quarter, 6 points in the second quarter, 14 points in the third and 6 points in the fourth bringing the total Cubs score to 38.

Of the points scored by the Cubs, Scrogum and Cole Turner each scored 14 points, Carter Turner gained 6 points and Coleman and Marquez each put up 2 points.
