Cubs Take on Pirates

The Olney Cubs played the Petrolia Pirates Tuesday, Jan. 8, in the high school gym. The Cubs defeated the Pirates 57-20.
During the first quarter, the Cubs gained and kept the scoring lead throughout the game. In the first quarter, they scored 25-3, they had 11-7 in the second, continued to gain with 13-5 in the third, and they had 8-5 in the fourth.
The scoring breakdown for the Cubs by player was: Jalen Terry 15 points, Garrett Trevino 11 points, Parker Mayers 11 points, Tanner Hudson 8 points, Carter Hinson 5 points, Christian Fuksa 3 points, Donnelly 2 points and Gabe Garza 2 points.
