Cubs Fell to the Wildcats

The Olney Cubs battled the Archer City Wild Cats Monday, March 11, but fell short of securing the win.

The first inning had the score tied at one and one. The game quickly took a turn for the worse and continued until the end of game play after the fourth inning with a score of 1 point for Olney and 15 points for Archer City. Cubs fought hard throughout the game with a few highlights.

Oscar Flores (First Base, Pitcher), Jr. Acuna (Centerfield) and Gabe Garza(Shortstop) all securing a hit at bat. Noah Molina (Pitcher/First Base) secured two hits at bat. Noah Molina had the only RBI (Runs Batted In). Noah Molina pitched for four innings with six hits, 13 runs, four earned runs and one strike out. Oscar Flores pitched one inning with three hits, two runs, two earned runs and one strike out.
