Cubs fall to Lindsay Knights in Bi-District playoffs
The Olney Cubs battled the Lindsay Knights for the Bi-District Championship. The Cubs fought hard but were knocked out, losing in the first two games of a three-game series.
Though the Cubs came up short in the Championship they have made great improvement this year under a seasoned coach, Braden Williams, who said his philosophy was to instill in the team that it was their team, and giving them ownership over how the season went.
This was one of the tightest groups of Cubs in recent years; they were always boosting each other up and keeping fellow players accountable for their performances on and off the field.
