

Cubs Fall to the Bulldogs
On Nov. 30, the Mighty Olney Cubs faced off against the Ranger Bulldogs for the Cubs’ second home game. The Cubs looked great, showing plenty of positive aggression on the court, keeping the game close throughout the matchup. Unfortunately, the Cubs fell to the Bulldogs with a 26-32 score. The game could have easily gone to the Cubs if not for a few too many missed buckets. However, many say that Coach Ballard has done an excellent job preparing the Cubs for the 2021-2022 season, considering the close win. Highlights from the
Highlights from the game include No. 2 Keller Knight scoring 4 points and three free throws, No. 3 James Coleman scoring 2 points and one free throw, No. 4 Tavon Scrogum scoring 7 points, which included one bucket from the outside, No. 11 Luis Castillo scored 4 points and one free throw and No. 24 Peyton Kulhanek scoring 4 points as well as winning the tipoff.
While the Cubs came into the season a bit late due to football, they have shown they have adapted to basketball quickly and are ready to compete this season. The Cubs would love your support this season, and the next opportunity to cheer on the Cubs will be the ERA Tourney scheduled for Dec. 9-11. Officials will determine the time and location.
