Cubs face Alvord Bulldogs

The Olney Cubs played against the Alvord Bulldogs Friday, Nov. 9, at Cub Stadium. This was the final game for the Cubs and they played hard, never giving, not even when the temperature started dropping once the sun went down. You could almost hear the shivering and teeth chattering in the stands as the die-hard fans cheered on the Cubs.

The cold was not enough to keep some of the players from getting a little too heated as a fight on the field saw several players from each team being expelled from the game.

Cesar Flores took in the only Cubs touchdown of the game in the third quarter. The Bulldogs won the game 54-6.
