Cubs’ Track & Field Olney Invitational

On March 24, Olney High School [OHS] hosted the Olney Invitational Track meet. The Cubs and Lady Cubs fought hard and walked away with many victories. The following are the highlights from the meet for OHS athletes:

Abi Ramirez placed third in the woman’s 100-meter; Camron McComack placed third in men’s 300-meter hurdles; Jaylee Carr placed second in the woman’s 300-meter hurdles; Dana Castillo, Keirah Wilk, Abi Ramirez and Sarah Stroud placed second in the woman’s 4x100 relay. Gatlin Guy, David Munoz, James Coleman and Camron McComack placed third in the men’s 4x400 relay; Luis Marquez placed first in men’s shot put and placed second in the men’s discus; Natalie Del-Villar placed third in the woman’s discus; John Lee placed third in the men’s pole vault.

Other OHS athletes placed in spots other than the top three. Congratulations to all Cubs who competed during the Olney Invitational.
