“Texans don’t like to be told what to do...really?”

Several of the responses I received about the article I wrote last week went something like this: “This is Texas, I am Texan, and I don’t want the government telling me what to do.” Well, who does want the government bossing them around, especially about personal matters? I never want to come across like I am standing on a soapbox and telling you how to live your life. That is not my job, and that would take too much effort. My goal is simple, to stimulate thought and perhaps a paradigm shift--on a good day.
