Young County Republicans
The Young County Republican party met in Graham on Oct. 13, 2020.
The guest speaker was Trenton (Trent) White formerly of New York. Mr. White and his fiancée Dee Henderson are in the process of moving to Graham. Trent spoke about his conservative beliefs while living in New York. Ms. Henderson is employed with the Graham Leader.
Over time a lot of friends and family “disowned” him for his conservative beliefs and the need to keep this country strong and independent.
He discussed the role of the democratic party in keeping the Afro-Americans and Hispanic people under their control using food stamps and other government benefits/services. He was proud when Trump won the 2016 election.
”The Republican party needs to evolve into a party for all people. Reaching out and educating the minorities, the truth about the democratic party and media. If President Trump and the Republican party lose the White House during this election, we will be years before the conservatives will regain power” according to Trent.
It was a pleasure to listen to his recommendations and ideas about this nation being a Christian nation and saving its values.
In further business the Young County Republican party plans a car rally across Young County on Saturday, Oct. 24 at 1 p.m. The rally will start at Graham RV and Boat Storage, 3107 Hwy. 16 South, then proceed north through Graham to Newcastle. The rally will then turn north to Olney, east to Jean and Loving, and finish up at the courthouse square in Graham. Everyone is invited to decorate their vehicle and participate in supporting President Trump, other candidates, and the Republican party.
