My Nickel’s Worth

As I look back on this year, so much has happened in this unprecedented year of 2020. In some ways it has gone by so fast, while at the same it has been one of the longest years ever recorded. From COVID-19, Quarantine, the death of so many celebrities, etc...this year has been unlike any year that I can remember. It is safe to say that we are all ready to begin a new year, as 2020 has brought so many cancelations and hardships for so many of us. All I can think of is what we can look forward to, and remain optimistic.

God remains in control through this pandemic, and when we feel alone or have lost hope for the future, we can find peace in his future for our lives. Life will return to normal and I believe it will be sooner rather than later, but I am going to remain hopeful and thankful for the many ways that God has continued to bless me. As 2020 comes to a close, let’s find hope in the future we have in 2021 as the new decade rolls on.

2020 hasn’t been all bad, after all I was still able to get married to Whitnie, the love of my life and my best friend. In difficult times in 2020, we were able to be with each other and now I am excited for us to share our lives together. I grew closer to my family and God and look forward to what is in store for 2021.
