A Message from Drew Springer: Election Integrity

Fellow Texans,

Yesterday, Governor Greg Abbott signed sweeping election reform legislation into law. This crucial bill makes it easy to vote, but hard to cheat -- ensuring the integrity of our elections in Texas.

While House Democrats tried to stifle our efforts by abandoning their constituents and fleeing on a private plane to Washington D.C., my Republican colleagues and I refused to give up. Now these same liberals have filed three lawsuits to circumvent the will of the people and stop the law from taking effect.

During my campaign for senate, few issues were brought up on the campaign trail more than election integrity. I am proud to have co-authored and championed this legislation that:

• Ensures consistency and predictability in voting statewide

• Cleans up our voter rolls

• Protects against ballot harvesting

• Prohibits voter assistance fraud

• Implements full audits of four counties each election cycle
