May 22,2025 Dear Editor: I observed a Facebook post yesterday regarding the image of a Veteran which seemed to be displayed (horizontal banner) on the City street.
I am a Veteran and a retired Veteran Service Office. (I filed claims for Veterans who were injured while on active duty and requested compensation for such from Gov) I am so pleased and proud that the City of Olney remembers its own.
Military service has become somewhat unfashionable in recent years.
It was “very” refreshing to see Olney side with our Heroes who keep our Constitutional values refreshed with their blood.
