Hampton Sides has made his mark in the literary world writing books of narrative history that bring to life the events and characters of another time. Sides, the author of acclaimed books such as The Wide Wide Sea, Blood and Thunder, and others, will speak at 7 p.m. Saturday, May 31, at the Royal Theater in Archer City.
Now for those of you who do not know, in addition to writing here, I also work at Stewart’s Food Store. Also, before I moved up here, I worked in retail for many years in one form or another. As such, I think that I know a little bit about this subject.
