Bill Price

William Wallace (Bill) Price, Jr., age 81, passed away on Friday, May 19, 2023, in Olney, Texas. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. at the Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Olney, Texas, on June 10, 2023.

Bill was born on March 29, 1942, to Eleanor and William (Skinnie) Price. Bill graduated from Olney High School. He attended The University of Texas at Austin where he earned degrees in mathematics and law. After completing law school, Bill returned to Olney where he practiced law for his entire career.

Bill served on the Hamilton Hospital Foundation, Olney Recreation Association, and Olney School Board. Bill was a lifelong member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church. He enjoyed spending time with his friends, coaching Little League baseball, and playing golf.

Bill married Ann Phillips on August 13, 1972. Together, they raised two children, Stephen and Emily Price. As a family, they spent many hours traveling to Austin visiting Bill’s alma mater and watching Texas Longhorn sporting events. Bill was very proud of his children and grandchildren and supported them in all their sporting and academic activities.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents, William (Skinnie) and Eleanor Price. Bill is survived by his wife, Ann Phillips Price, of Olney, Texas; his sister, Karen Price Garrett, of Houston, Texas; his son, Stephen Price, and wife, Heather, of Dallas, Texas; his daughter, Emily Price Lubojacky, and husband, Kevin, of Parker, Colorado; grandchildren, Ellyott, Will, Maren, Andrew, and Josie. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to a favorite charity.
