William “W.P.” Presley Stephens IV

“W.P.” William Presley Stephens IV, age 31, died Monday, November 14, 2016 in Olney, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, November 17, 2016 at First Baptist Church in Olney with Andy Graham, pastor of Southside Baptist Church in Olney, officiating, assisted by Barry Roberts. Interment will follow in Restland Cemetery under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

W.P. was born on February 22, 1985 in Wichita Falls, Texas to William Presley “Steve” Stephens III and Leigh Ann (Jordan) Stephens. He was a graduate of Olney High School class of 2003 and a graduate of Tarleton State University in 2008 with a B.S. in Animal Production. He married Lindsay Gayle Jacobs on July 23, 2005 in Graham, Texas. He was owner and operator of S & S Custom Concrete Design. W.P. was a member of Southside Baptist Church and a lifetime resident of Olney. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Lynda Bernhardt.

Survivors include his wife, Lindsay Stephens of Olney; his twin sons, Wyatt and West Stephens of Olney; parents: Steve and Leigh Stephens of Olney; two sisters: Christal Garrett and husband Colter of Olney, Chelle (Michelle) Reed and husband Chris of Olney; Mother and Father-in-law, Gerald and Sandy Jacobs of Olney; Maternal Grandparents, John and Gail Story of Olney, Durer and Janis Jordan of Graham; Paternal Grandparents, Bill and Brenda Stephens of Newcastle; Sister and Brother-in-law, Pam and Adam Lisle of Olney; nephews, Brady Lisle, Ryder Lisle, Cash Reed, and one niece, Charleigh Garrett.
