Through personal correspondence, Sarah was encouraged by Erma to share the funny escapades of daily life. Erma told Sarah, “without fans like you my newspaper articles would be lining the bottom of bird cages across America” Sarah entertained many organizations with her Erma Bombeck style presentations.
