Elvira G. Aleman, age 71, passed away Thursday, May 21, 2020 at her home in Olney, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 23, 2020 in the Chapel of Lunn Funeral Home in Olney with Chad Edgington, pastor of First Baptist Church, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Elvira was born on December 30, 1948 in Falfurrias, Texas to the late Arcadio Aleman and Agustina (Gonzales) Aleman. She moved to Olney in 1973 and was a caregiver and nurses aid before her retirement. She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, Arcadio Aleman, Jr., W.G. “Ben” Aleman, Rene Aleman and Guadalupe Aleman; three sisters, Anita Esquivel, Lidia Badillo, and Elva Salas; and a niece, Belinda Reyes.

Elvira is survived by two brothers; Octaviano Aleman of Falfurrias, Texas and Luis Aleman of Olney, Texas; one sister, Delia Calderon of Kerrville, Texas; nieces, Mary Lou Muñiz, Yolanda Perez, Eva Sanchez; nephew, Thomas Badillo; great-niece, Stephanie Hinojosa; along with numerous other great-nieces and great-nephews.
