Robert Gerald Stark 5/8/1931 to 1/11/2021, age 89

One of the world’s finest aviators passed Monday. He was the recipient of the two most coveted FAA awards, “The Wright Brothers Master Pilot” and “The Charles Taylor Master Mechanic”. These awards are bestowed only to the best lifelong contributors to aviation safety.

With over 14,000 flight hours, he flew most anything with rotors or wings. He could even fly the box they came in.

He requested no ceremonies and no marker.

He served in the US Navy from 12/30/50 to 10/25/54.
