Obituary: Jessie Randall Huffman

Jessie Randall Huffman (1941-2019)

Randall Huffman, age 77, of Fort Worth, Texas left this earth peacefully on Monday, October 7, 2019.

He was born on December 20, 1941, in Olney, Texas, the son of Jesse P. Huffman and Stella Mae Cribbs Huffman.  He is preceded in death by his parents; one son, Mark Allen Huffman(1968); his spouse Arlene Wainscott Huffman(1945-1990) and his spouse Ruth Vinson-Huffman(1932-2019).

Randall grew up in Levelland, Texas and Elbert, Texas.  Following retirement, he looked forward to spending time with his family at holidays; he adored his pets; and especially enjoyed listening to Elvis’ music.

He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Cameron and Tara Huffman, step-son and step-daughter-in-law, Gary and Mary Vinson; step-daughter and step-son-in-law, Donna and Eddy Martin; grandchildren, Nick Vinson, Eric and Gloria Martin, Renee and Jimmy Hale, Hannah Huffman, and Jacob Huffman; great-grandchildren, Victoria and Christiauna.  

The family would like to extend a special thank you to his caring neighbor, Ginny Smith, as well as the staff at The Pines Nursing & Rehab and Kindred Hospice both of Hot Springs, Arkansas.

Graveside services were held at 11:00 AM, Monday, October 14, 2019, in the Restland Cemetery, South Avenue M, Olney, Texas, with Pastor Chad Edgington officiating.

Visitation was held from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM, Sunday, October 13, 2019, at Lunn’s Funeral Home, 300 South Avenue M, Olney, Texas 76374.

Arrangements were under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Hot Springs, Arkansas and Lunn Funeral Home, Olney, Texas.
