Mary Ann Weidner (Livingston)

Mary Ann Weidner (Livingston), age 84, passed away Saturday, February 16, 2019 in Olney, Texas. Memorial services were held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, February 21, 2019, in the Chapel of Lunn Funeral Home with Pastor Ernie Barr, pastor of Faith Lutheran Church in Wichita Falls, Texas, officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Mary Ann was born on September 27, 1934 in McMinnville, Oregon to the late Oscar Weidner and Dorothy (Steward) Weidner. She graduated from Yamhill-Carlton High School in Oregon and then served her country proudly in the United States Marine Corps until her discharge in 1953. Mary Ann moved to Megargel, Texas in 1961 from Yuma, Arizona, and moved to Olney in 2008 from Megargel. She was a caretaker until her retirement. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Guy Bob Livingston; a grandson, Tom Henry Esparza; a brother, John Weidner; and a sister, Joyce Weidner Cover.

Mary Ann is survived by her granddaughter and best friend, Cherrie Marie Esparza of Olney; one daughter, Dottie Livingston Morris of Archer City; two sons: Ben Livingston and wife Gneta of Graham and Gary Livingston and wife Sherry of Megargel; grandchildren: Sammy Livingston and wife Andrea of Olney, Jennifer Clifton and husband Cody of Kellar, Texas, Emily Livingston of Megargel, Ari L. Livingston of Megargel, Lyle Livingston of Olney, Jamie Livingston of Olney; four great-grandchildren; one brother, Carl Weidner and wife Wanda of Yamhill, Oregon; one sister, Crystal Hoelker and husband Rory of New Braunfels, Texas; and her close friend, J.R. Smith of Olney.
