Louie Dale "LD" Marsh,

Louie Dale "LD" Marsh, 72, passed away Sunday, April 3, 2016 in Newcastle.  Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 7, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in Cowboy Church of Young County.  Burial will follow in Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

LD was born December 28, 1943 in Olney to the late Woodrow Raymond and Iva Lois (King) Marsh.  He married Brenda Ann Sparks January 10, 1964 in Graham and she preceded him in death August 26, 2012.  LD was an Auctioneer and owner of Marsh Auction Service.  He was a member of Texas Auctioneers Association and National Auctioneers Association.   

Survivors include: daughter, Kim Dodson and husband, Chad of Newcastle, son, Sherman Marsh and wife, Beth of Graham; sister, Oneta Moore of Crockett; brother, Ray Marsh of Newcastle; grandchildren, Jared Reeves, Austin Reeves, Chelsea Carter, Robyn Marsh, Sarah Marsh and Taylor Marsh; great grandchild, Keigan Carter.

He was preceded in death by sister, Bonnie Stanford.

Family visitation will be held Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to the Cowboy Church of Young County Youth Group.
