Lloyd Clanahan

Olney ~ Allen Lloyd Clanahan, age 93, passed away on Saturday, September 14, 2019 at Grace Care Center in Olney, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, September 16, 2019 at First Baptist Church in Olney with Chad Edgington, pastor, officiating. Interment will follow in the Restland Cemetery under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Mr. Clanahan was born on November 13, 1925 in Springcreek, Texas to Allen Clinton and Nellie (Wainscott) Clanahan. He married Bobbie Ruth Davis on May 29, 1941 in Rule, Texas. She preceded him in death on January 10, 2003. He married Doris Perry on April 17, 2004 in Olney, Texas. He was a handyman and painter. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Olney, the Downtown Men’s Bible Class, and the Olney Lions Club where he served as a former President. He enjoyed working on the family farm.

Lloyd was also preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Dorothy Clanahan and by two brothers and one sister.  

He is survived by his wife, Doris Clanahan of Olney, Texas; one daughter and sonin-law, Judy Enloe and her husband Tommy of Temple, Texas; one son and his partner, Allen Clanahan and Travis Rogers of Lubbock, Texas; along with two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Family visitation will be Sunday, September from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Lunn Funeral Home in Olney.
