Jerry Ben Andrews

Jerry Ben Andrews went peacefully into the hands of God on August 9, 2026, at the age of 91. He was born on February 13, 1935, in Kilgore, Texas, to Homer E. and Martha E. Andrews.

Jerry devoted the majority of his life to ministry, faithfully serving churches throughout Texas and California. His calling, compassion, and steadfast commitment to sharing the Gospel touched countless lives over many decades.

He was preceded in death by his parents and by his beloved wife of more than 50 years, Beth Ann Shaunfield Andrews, who passed away on August 13, 2017.

Jerry is lovingly remembered by his children: David and wife Yvette Andrews of Fort Lauderdale, Florida; Dana and husband Gary Revis of Katy, Texas; and Darren and wife Christina Andrews of Plano, Texas.

He is also survived by his sister, Sylvia Kay Andrews of Wichita Falls, Texas, along with her sons, Jerry’s nephews Hank Pace and Chuck (Jennifer) Pace, and their families.

In addition, he leaves behind his grandchildren: Emily (Shane) Weber, Kayla (Ben) Shipman, Sarah (AJ) Whatley, and Ann Revis. He is further survived by his great grandchildren: Kayleigh Whatley, Lyla Whatley, Jack Whatley, Allie Shipman, and Hunter Shipman.

A Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday, August 29, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel at Tallowood Baptist Church, with Dr. Duane Brooks presiding. A reception will follow. Private family interment will take place at Rest Ever Memorial Park in Bryan, Texas.
