Helen Geneva (Parish) Blair

Helen Geneva (Parish) Blair, age 95, passed away Wednesday, December 11, 2019 at Hamilton Hospital in Olney, Texas. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 14, 2019 in the chapel of Lunn Funeral Home in Olney, with Scotte Clark, minister of the Hamilton Street Church of Christ, officiating. Interment will follow at Restland Cemetery in Olney. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Helen was born on July 12, 1924 in Olney, Texas to the late R.C. Parish and Clara May (Tucker) Parish. She was a lifetime resident of Olney and a member of the Hamilton Street Church of Christ. She married Roy H. Blair on November 12, 1941 in Newcastle. Helen was a homemaker and bookkeeper for their family business, Roy Blair Welding. Roy preceded her in death on February 28, 1980. She later married Alton O. Blair on May 28, 1986 in Olney. He preceded her in death on January 2, 1997. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Lee Ann Campbell and a step-son, Gene Blair.

 Helen is survived by one son, Roger Henry Blair of Olney; two daughters, Roydell Gregory of Blanchard, Oklahoma and Debbie Lynn Tedrow of Megargel; one brother, Leon Parish of Wichita Falls; eleven grandchildren, twenty-seven great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
