Harrell Ray Riggins

Harrell Ray Riggins, 71, of Iowa Park, TX, went peacefully home to his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, July 27, 2016.

Harrell, affectionately know by his grandchildren as “Pawpaw”, was born on February 15, 1945, in Olney, TX to the late Harrell Thomas and Ida Lee (Alexander) Riggins. He graduated from Olney High School in 1963, and married Kathleen Kay (Kathy) Smith on October 31, 1964, in Wichita Falls, TX. Harrell worked as a metal specialist at Sheppard AFB, TX.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Kathy Riggins; his son, Thomas Wayne Riggins and wife Michelle; his daughter Kristy Kay Rhodes; his five grandchildren, Justin Wayne Fowler and wife Tara, Madison Ellen Riggins, Seth Thomas Riggins, and Brayden James Riggins, all of Iowa Park, TX; and Gage Wayne Evans of Scotland, TX; and great-grandchildren, Cooper Wayne, Cason Dwayne, Conner Ray, and “soon-to-be” Piper Rose Fowler of Iowa Par, TX; his brother, Jerry Don Riggins and wife Mary Ann of Olney, TX.
